Wayne Brown has over 25 years of payment experience having worked with some of the industries largest financial institutions including, Citigroup, MasterCard Worldwide, Deutsche Bank, Marsh McLennan to name a few. This experience has provided him a specific set of skills to leverage his expertise in helping technology start-up firms to identify key opportunities, obtain new revenue streams and connect with new strategic partners.

As founder of The Walker Group, Wayne provides strategic advisory services to CEOs to build their businesses, introduce new products to marketplace and meet the challenges as they navigate through the industry. The Walker Group has a successful track record in introducing start ups to key decision makers in the financial services community.

For the last fourteen years Wayne has been an active participant in NACHA’s Council Electronic Billing and Payments (CEBP) Council and was one of the author’s of the Walk- In Payment Best Practices Guide published by NACHA released in February 2007 and spearheaded the launch of NACHA’s Walk In Payment Roundtable. The Walk In Payment Roundtable focuses on payment issues faced in this market segment. Wayne holds a B.B.A in Finance from Baruch College and has completed his Master’s of Science coursework in Management and Strategic Planning at Manhattanville College.

In 2011 Wayne launched the Alternative Financial Services Council comprised of interest executives including bankers, payment processors and Walk In Service Providers. The key focus is to collaborate stakeholders to identify industy issues and provide solutions.
