Attention All RichTopia Readers: This Is Our First Update

RichTopia News Update 2015

October 2015

We wanted to welcome you to RichTopia and give you an update on what you can expect in the future and what has happened in the past. You will see many updates on this page over the next few years, keeping you informed – so make sure you check back here often and spread the word.

So far the engagement has been MUCH bigger than we expected during this first year. Our team has gone from one person to thirty people. We’ve worked around the clock to make sure we offer top quality content and we really appreciate your support during this time!

Our advisory board now includes Tim Campbell MBE (Founder of Bright Ideas Trust, Mayor of London Ambassador for Training, Enterprise & Apprenticeships, and first winner of BBC The Apprentice hosted by Lord Alan Sugar), Özlem İmil (Founding Director at Head to Inspire), and Emiko Andry (Chairwoman at Herbalife).

Since December 2014, we have been featured on Black Enterprise Magazine, Business Matters, and many other media outlets. For the full list, please see RichTopia.com/Press. And if you’re into technical details, we are honoured to share that our Alexa Ranking has reached 400K Globally and 20K in the UK, as seen in the image below:

We’ve had many contributions from notable experts including James Altucher (Co-founder of 20 Companies, Bestselling Author, and Writer for The Financial Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, The Huffington Post, and more), Fred Kofman (Professor of Leadership & Coaching at the University Francisco Marroquín and Vice President at Linkedin), and Jonah Berger (Wharton Professor and Author of New York Times Bestseller, ‘Contagious: Why Things Catch On’) to name a few.

And the good news doesn’t stop there. We have been going strong on social media too, with a total reach of over 300,000 people throughout all of our networks. It has been fun, and we have tweeted with notable names such as Guy Kawasaki, Kat Cole (President and Chief Operations Officer of Cinnabon), Craig Newmark (Founder of Craigslist), John Hope Bryant (Founder, chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE and member of the United States President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability).

One of the key features of RichTopia is that 80% of our content is written by experts with upwards of 10,000 hours experience in their respective fields. In addition, we are free to reach so that any person – including those in disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances – with internet access could read our content, so that nobody can be discriminated against.

This concept may be hard to understand, but rest assured RichTopia will be fully transparent with its humanitarian ventures and keep developing its’ social arm. We won’t ask you to “trust” us or take our word for anything. Instead we will offer full details so you can verify our actions, stats, and everything else we are doing. All stats and resources will be made available during and after campaigns, and we will continue to keep you informed with the facts.

We are working on growing the RichTopia team to 60 dedicated members by 2016 and will have updates posted once per month. If you would like to contribute, please contact us or send content for consideration via our contributions page.

As promised from the outset, we have also started producing video interviews – so far having featured Kristina Rihanoff (BBC Strictly Come Dancing Pro Dancer & Choreographer and Patron of Dot Com Children’s Foundation) and Jonathan Pfahl (Founder and Managing Director of the Rockstar Group of Companies). We have big plans for the video group, including documentaries, and will keep things going with one exclusive interview per month on average.

Stay tuned for more updates!
